Witches of East End: Ingrid & Dash A Possible Item?

The Librarian & the Doctor: Steamy Romance Novel in the making

Since in the Season 1 finale, Dash was left at the altar by Freya and almost killed his brother, Killian with his newly found magic powers, Dash has been at a lost. He even started hallucinating his brother's "ghost". And although Dash vows to hate the Beauchamp family he's turned to Ingrid when he found out that her brain scan matched his own. In episode 3, Ingrid reached out to Dash and finally helped him to understand that he's a witch. Dash was grateful but does that mean he may develop feelings for the older Beauchamp sister?

Did it just get hotter in here?

You never want to go after your sister's ex, especially when you're close to your sister and I don't see that Ingrid is the type of girl to do that to Freya. However, Freya's love life has gotten too much attention where as Ingrid's romance was short although very sweet. I liked the detective dating the librarian dynamic but the hot, rich doctor and the librarian? It feels much spicier. Despite Freya's initial reservations about reaching out to Dash as he goes through his sudden and frightening transition from mortal to witch, Ingrid sought him out anyway while Freya was away. Ingrid understood what it felt like to suddenly discover that you have secret powers and the struggles of dealing with them, especially if you're a logical, rational person; Dash being a doctor he relies heavily on scientific fact and rabbits out of hats and cauldrons are not in his field. She was hoping that by helping him she would stop him before he hurt someone, but too late Dash had murdered someone. Granted that someone was blackmailing Dash and Dash was afraid the guy would hurt Ingrid but still Ingrid was too late.

You know everyone has that sexy librarian fantasy

For Dash, to find out that there's someone like him and that he's not crazy was a relief. Ingrid turned out to be so understanding that it put him at ease, but she's still Freya's older sister. How will that affect their future interactions? Well Ingrid has moved out of the Beauchamp household so Dash won't have those awkward run ins with Freya when she makes an unexpected visit. Yet Dash is also having some anger issues. Freya and Wendy read his aura and it was radiating darkness so I too think he could be dangerous for Ingrid.

Big brother will protect his sisters

Then there's Freya's twin brother Frederick. Frederick is very protective of his sisters especially Freya because they're twins so if Dash messes with Freya or Ingrid, you can bet Frederick will do something about it. Yet like Killian attached himself to his new wife (I already forgot her name because I hope Freya kicks her ass) who saved his life, Dash may become attached to Ingrid. You can call it reverse "Florence Nightingale Syndrome". So there may come a time where Dash will make a move but Ingrid may pull away... or not which will make her feel very confused.

The hot, rich doctor & the smart, sassy librarian...

It would be a shame for the writers not to explore this possible romance. Ingrid wants to help Dash but he also has a darkness in him that could be dangerous to her family as well as herself and others. In a past life Ingrid showed bad judgement in falling in love with Dash's crazy grandfather but would she make the same mistake with his grandson? Still it would be nice to see Ingrid let loose and have a torrid affair. Ingrid is the type of person who thinks things through but with love she usually tries to avoid because it's confusing and chaotic but still once she jumps in it's with her full heart and maybe that will be enough to save Dash from himself.
